A Murfreesboro man was charged with abuse of a corpse after authorities say he dumped a woman's body in a secluded parking lot. 

A Rutherford County deputy arrested Cory Tyler Sain, 27, on Friday after they say he dumped the body of a woman who had overdosed on heroin in the parking lot of Nice Mill Dam Recreation Area in Murfreesboro.

Court records show that Sain sold Vickers heroin through social media. Sain told police the woman used the drug in front of him and began breathing heavily before she stopped breathing entirely. 

Sain and a fellow passenger, who wasn't charged with dumping the body, disposed of the woman in the park and deleted all the messages of the drug sale from social media. 

Deputies charged Sain with tampering with evidence, abuse of a corpse and selling heroin.

He is slated for court on Jan. 27 and is being held at the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center on a $110,000 bond. No attorney was listed for Sain.
